Grow particles with a new particle system
-
Hello,
First of all, I apologize if my writing is hard to read, as English is not my first language.
I’m currently facing some issues with the particle system in Cinema 4D 2025. Specifically, when particles are generated, the objects associated with the cloner are also generated at the same time.
What I’m trying to achieve is similar to Trapcode Particular’s "Time over Size" behavior, where the particles gradually increase in size from the moment they appear and stop growing once they reach their normal size.
What I have tried so far is applying a Plain Effector to the cloner associated with the particle group, setting the size to -1, and then applying a time field to the Plain Effector. However, this approach didn’t work as expected.
If anyone knows a better way to achieve this, I would appreciate your help.

Hi analysis-standard,
This is the Forger forum. For any questions about Cinema 4D, please use
https://cineversity.forums.maxon.net/category/2/question-answersI would suggest checking out the Data Mapper> Age to Radius.
Don't forget to switch on Particle Group> Draw Radius
If you need a Cloner, the Particle Scale slider should not show 0%If you ask in the Cineversity Forum, I will share an example.
Please understand that I can't answer this in more detail here. Otherwise, I have to do it for everyone about Cinema 4D, and the idea of a forum is no longer given, as this is, as I said, the Forger Forum.
Cheers
Thank you
