Where is the "smooth shortcut"?

I'm trying to find it to snap the orthographic camera 90 degrees as indicated in the FAQ.

"The camera can be snapped to 90 degree angles by pressing the "smooth shortcut" while orbiting."

I've been using Forger for a couple of weeks and I've encountered the same problem several times: when I select an edge and then try to select more edges, all the edges of the face are selected instead of just the edge I clicked on.

Is there any solution?
